Join Us On An Honor Flight
Honor Flight Experience
Your trip with Honor Flight South Florida will be a long and emotional day. Yet, we are confident it will also be a day of exhilaration and renewal. Past Honor Flight participants have told us that next to their wedding day and the births of their children and grandchildren, Honor Flight is one of the best days of their lives.
Virtual Honor Flight
Not all veterans can go on an actual Honor Flight to Washington, DC, but they still are deserving of our thanks and gratitude. Some think the day is too long; a doctor or family member may believe it would be too tasking; or maybe your service dates don’t fall within the war service dates provided to us by the Department of Veterans Affairs (non-conflict veterans) or other various reasons.

Nominate A Veteran
The American veteran is one of our greatest treasures—the men and women who answered our nation’s call, especially at times of our greatest need. Honor Flight South Florida’s mission is to thank and pay tribute to these heroes—especially our World War II veterans—by bringing them to Washington, D.C. for a day of honor and remembrance at no cost to them.
Flags Of Our Heros
An additional tribute of Honor Flight South Florida to our veterans is “Flags of our Heroes,” conceived by Dee Soli, a former HFSF Board Member.
It is Honor Flight South Florida’s desire to show the respect so richly deserved to our deceased war conflict veterans and their families. Even though they may never see their memorial, we want to provide the families with the opportunity to know that their family member was shown the highest regard and respect at the memorials.
